Abstract: This study aims to make a literature review and collate scientific articles that indicate treatment for dyspraxia, a neurological injury manifest by disorganization of the sequence of movements necessary to perform a motor act, be it to get a glass, kick a ball, chewing or talking. In infants this injury can manifest only or primarily occur in speech and independent of any brain injury. With speech and language processes two closely linked and dependent on the integrity of the neuromuscular system is essential that the treatment is started early in verbal dyspraxia, for the child to develop in the best way possible, minimizing deficits in communication, social functioning, emotional that may result in problems in language and learning. We observed that the therapeutic proposals fall into two analogous approaches to the understanding of language acquisition process. Of the nine studies compared two approaches understand the speech as a result of the subject's relation to the language and therefore proposes a job intervened in phonological awareness. The other seven studies are closed related to the concept of speech as an object, a behavior to be learned and worked with imitation, repetition and feedback. In common, the two approaches use a strategy using sounds and / or words target and tactile, visual, verbal or kinesthetic cues. We conclude that the number of articles that researches dyspraxia therapy with children is very low and that there is an urgent need for further research in the fields of assessment, diagnosis and therapy in order to gain scientifically validated instruments that lead to effective therapeutic practice
