Abstract

This dissertation in systematic theology, whose theme is the real priesthood: foundation for an active and fruitful liturgical participation from the laity faithful intended by a theological reflection demonstrate the value of the participation of the faithful, through the real priesthood in the liturgical action of the Church and the Christian life. There is until today a misinterpretation by ordained ministers and some theologians about the place and role of the laity and participation in the Church´s life, not being aware of their importance to the ecclesial action. Liturgical Theology has much to offer through a scathing reflection on the amounts deposited by Vatican II to all sectors of the Church. The Universal Church Documents and CELAM indicate theology task that the Church has today to the conscience of its clear members about discipleship and missionary in an active, conscious and fruitful participation in the Church and in the world. It´s possible to overcome the understanding that many people have about the liturgical reflection. The study demonstrates the role of liturgical science is not merely ritualistic, but causes implications to the diocesan and parochial Church´s life, and in the very essence of the Christian person contributing to a better reality for themselves and others. This task must be done and the liturgical theology has the assignment to elucidate it to everyone, so there is a correct understanding of it
